What is the c-card?
The c-card is a small key fob that gives you access to free condoms & Chlamydia screening.
To get free condoms you need to register to the c-card scheme. This means going along to a registration point and having a confidential* chat with a trained c-card worker.

One you are registered you will be given a c-card key fob, which you can attach to your keys. You can then go to ANY distribution point for up to ten times** to get free condoms- simple.
After the tenth time, you will need to go back to ANY registration point and re-register, which means having a confidential chat* with a c-card worker so they can check everything is still ok, this also gives you the opportunity to ask any more questions you may have.
**In line with the c-card confidentiality statement
** A lot of people will be allowed to get condoms ten times from distribution points before they need to re-register. However, c-card workers can change the number of distributions you are allowed before you need to come back and speak to them if they feel it would help you. A c-card worker will tell you when you are registering how many times you can access distribution points before re-registering
Here are some questions to think about to see if the c-card is right for you:
- Are you between the ages of 13 and 25?
- Do you live in Coventry?
- Do you want to use condoms & lubes but can't afford or are embarrassed to buy them?
- Are you thinking about having sex?
- Are you having sex and want information to help stop yourself or someone else becoming pregnant?
- Are you worried about STI's, and would like more information or to have a Chlamydia screen?
- Do you want more information about safe sex, condoms, lubes & relationships etc?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, this site and the c-card can help you. Check out 'What happens are registration?' and 'Where can I get a c-card?' for more information.
Remember: You don't have to be having sex to use this site or service. The advice is free and confidential and is aimed at helping YOU! If you want to speak to someone about sex and relationships, c-card workers are there to help.
